Penny Slinger has a history with houses. In the early 1970s, the artist responsible for giving Dior’s recent couture show an occult edge, made surreal .Slinger attended Farnham (now West Surrey) College of Art from 1964 to 1966. She studied at the Chelsea College of Arts in London where she made a series of short films that were later shown at Anthology Film Archives in 2019. She completed her degree with a First Class Honors Diploma in Art and Design in 1969. She was accepted into the Royal College of Art Film post graduate course, but did not take it up.
