I managed to buy my birthyear -79 5513 from a friend of mine, the watch runs . Can anyone help me understand how to tell a replacement bezel insert on a 5513 . In this video I show a DIY way to safely remove and refit your Rolex bezel insert, specifically for a Rolex 5513, 1680 or any 4 digit Rolex reference. Try moving the flat spring and see if the bezel turns properly. If it does, the flat spring is binding against the bezel or possibly the crystal or both. The matte dial 5513 Submariner was produced from 1966 to approximately 1984 and the no-date, two-line dial makes it instantly recognizable.
