The Astonishing Moment of Life. Inspired by the Surrealist movement and the desire to find magic and wonder in the familiar and everyday life, this project features shapes and emblematic Hermès accessories that interact to form two subtly choreographed installations.The Illusionniste is a project design at ECAL for the object department of Hermès. Many thanks to Sabine Marcelis for her great advice during this project. The Illusionniste is playing with the lines and the perception. Classic mirror from the front, it is revealed by changing angle.
Phi [Φ] - yosukeshimano. Hermès × ecal. Region : France. Year : 2021. Conceptual Model. Mirrors reflect the world with light as it is. They look like they have everything, but they can also be seen as empty objects with no will. This is why I have called this mirror Phi [Φ] (group of .Collaboration with Hermès 2021. For this first collaboration with the department Hermès Maison, the students worked on the theme of the mirror, under the direction of designer Sabine Marcelis. The concept was do a showcase playing with the metamorphosis. I reinterpret this concept with the natural erosion.The Hermès Printing Company. Inspired by the aesthetics of rotary printing presses, this project allows passers-by to immerse themselves in a graphic and artistic universe.
